The ambassador of Supercop America to Nepal, Mr James F Moriarty in his recent interview with the Kantipuronline.com has made his stand clear in Nepali politics. Nepali people must thank Mr Moriarty for his candid and vociferous outlook to safeguard the Nepali people from any sort of extremism.
Yet whether he forgot to comment or was not asked by the interviewer about the recent violent Madhesi Movement which was/is heading toward communalism and separatism by resorting to similar guerilla-strategy only at a greater scale, gives some support to those who accuse Mr Moriarty and the US that they're only obsessed with anti-communist and anti-Muslim issues as part of their so-called losing "War Against Terrorism".
Although it may not bother Mr Moriarty and his boss Mr Bush at all who have the guts to go not only against the whole world but against their own voters in carrying out their agenda, and obliging Ms Hillary in her future presidential campaign; perhaps a tribute to Mr Clinton for lying under oath and paving the way for Bush as the Superman of the World Politics. Now that it’s all clear what America wanted in its Crusade-Reaction and what actually is happening to the peace and stability of Iraq and other Islam worlds; the everyday Bush-Bashing cannot relieve the American voters from the responsibility of monitoring their Presidents while carrying out their reactive whimsical foreign policy.
It may be harsh to say, still, a bitter pill that the wise American voters must swallow rather than delimiting their vision to domestic social security issues like tax cuts, unemployment rate, and stock market graphs – that they must widen their horizon and have a clear assessment of America’s role in the World politics – for their own safety and credibility.
